Your
bankruptcy can be reported on your credit report for 10 years
from the filing of the case.
Since
old debts no longer have claims on post bankruptcy future income,
you automatically become more credit worthy. Once a bankruptcy
is discharged, you are entitled under federal lay to have the
balance of each discharged debit brought back to "0". Remember,
the history of your past debts can still be reported, only their
